you can start by reading a guide book:)
why do you stay so long? where do you want to go?? it's a perfect period for travelling, not too cold, not too hot.

oh i've read the guidebook several times. heh. i was just hoping people would have little secrets that weren't in the guidebook.

i'm going to go down the coast to side to watch the eclipse. after that i don't know. over to cappadocia then maybe down to sanliurfa and over to nemrut dagi. maybe all the way to lake van. maybe up to ani and mt. ararat.

or i might just spend a lot of time in cappadocia and then once it starts getting warm in late april or midmay heading back down the coast and into the greek islands. typical i know.

      i want atypical suggestions.

i like ruins, and mountains, and clear water. and old forests. i want to find a isolated little place with water where i can live blissed out in a timeless idyll for a few weeks. for cheap. haha.

as for how long, i just like to travel slowly. and i like to stay weeks at a time in places that i find that i like. and i want to get a good sense of both turkey and greece. i feel like three months is not nearly enough.

i'm agree with you for staying quiet long in somewhere, it's the best way of learning about the people, otherwise you will see whatever they have offered you.

if you have a chance maybe you find a way to fethiye, nice place about 200 kilometer from antalya

here are some pics from there:
